I am a well trained and skilled clinical psychologist with a busy private practice that I have maintained for almost twenty years. I received a Masters (with Honors) and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology through the well respected Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, following a Bachelors degree in Psychology at Franklin and Marshall College in Pennsylvania. Both my pre and post-doctoral training included an intensive child/pediatric track. In addition to my clinical practice I supervise psychotherapists in training, provide mental health and consultation services, including wealth counseling, and frequently talk to the community on such topics as adolescent depression, coping with divorce, and creativity. My clinical orientation is broadly psychodynamic, but I am not at all rigidly dogmatic. I am also influenced by cognitive-behavioral and Buddhist approaches, and with children and adolescents I often favor a family approach. On a personal note, I love the outdoors and am a passionate road and mountain biker and downhill skier. I have a background in film and TV, love good movies, and am writing a screenplay that I hope to produce.
